We spent the past week on vacation in Isle of Palms, SC. We went with my husband's sisters and their families. I think we did pretty well given that there were nine adults and 4 children (5 years old and under) living in the same house. It's always nice to connect with family in a different location. I think it makes you view them in a light other than the ordinary, every day craziness that we all live in. We bonded with the entire family and I left feeling much closer to everyone. It was truly a valuable experience for me.
We spent time in Charleston and drove down to Savannah, GA for a day. My husband and I met in Savannah and it's one of my most favorite places in the world. I must have taken at least 15 pictures of trees with Spanish Moss. Going to Savannah is like going home for me. Maybe we'll retire there someday. (Hint to my hubby!)
I am posting a few vacation pictures. We sure had fun!
