Give 'em some space.

Some of you may have read an article printed in many newspapers today that deaths of law enforcement officers have increased in 2007, many of those from traffic accidents. Here's a link to one such article: http://www.nleomf.com/media/press/deadly2007.htm

Many of you know that my husband is a police officer. He is adamant in letting us know that when you see an officer on the road, give 'em some space. Move to the other lane if possible. If that's not possible, then slow down. It's so important to keep your eyes on the officer and the traffic in front of you instead of what the person pulled over or in an accident is doing. Please pay attention to this so every officer can go home safely to their families each day. Every one of us family members will thank you for it.
