Make a Difference

I try to think everyday how I can make a difference in the world. I don't mean in a giant way because that's just way too cumbersome. I'm talking about more small but measurable ways. For example, letting someone in the lane during crazy rush hour traffic when everyone else has sped past them. Or telling my children ALL the time how much I love them and how proud I am of them. I don't always stay focused on making a difference because frankly, sometimes I just get caught up in my own nutty work schedule and shuttling my kids around the city to doctor appointments, swim lessons, soccer practices and everything else that comes our way. A wonderful friend sent this video to me and I ask that you take a few moments to watch it. This gentleman was highlighted as the Person of the Week on ABC. To me, he is the poster child for making a difference. Person of the Week? Yeah....but in my mind, he's Person of a Lifetime.
