I'm not sure how we managed to get 12 women out together on a Friday night but we did it! We shared dinner, drinks and relaxed conversation and then topped off the night by seeing the new SATC movie. I had a WONDERFUL time and we all agreed it was a much deserved break. As I drove to dinner, I thought about the power of girlfriends. All 12 of us lead busy lives....husbands, full time jobs, stay at home moms, multiple children and a million other important things that fill up the minutes of our day. We all came to the table, briefly leaving all that stuff behind us and just enjoyed the company of beautiful, intelligent and amazing women. I loved every minute of it and now have a deeper love for every woman that was there. I hope we can do it again very soon.
