Here are some pictures from our trip to PA for Thanksgiving. I found the most meaningful part of our trip was spending time with two kids, 15-month old Samora and 3 year old Nathaniel. Both of their parents are currently serving the military in Afghanistan. I distinctly remember what it was like to "celebrate" holidays when Matthew was deployed. I have to say that I loved on them a lot even though I had never met them before. They are beautiful children. Please keep them and their parents in your prayers.
This year, I was reminded of the true meaning of being thankful.
