Today we went to the High School Rodeo at the Kentucky Horse Park. It was a BLAST! Oh my gosh, all four of us loved watching the events. I do admit the kids and I rooted for the calves during the roping contest. Matthew and I used to go the Houston Rodeo when we lived there. I know he misses going to it (he's a Texan at heart!) and I love that he had such a good time today.

I always root for the poor calves! Went to one out at Murray a few years ago and had to watch the bull riding through my hands... but the best part was the girls roping the goats... as soon as they rode in the ring, the goats just laid down... they knew what was coming!
