Vacation - Day 2 (Sunday)

We spent the morning visiting with my Grandma Shirley and made a short trip to Westminster, MD where we ate at Baugher’s. The Baugher family owns an orchard and this restaurant, a legend in this neck of the woods. Elisabeth and Matthew shared homemade apple cider and we sampled delicious strawberries right from the Baugher fields. I wanted to show Elisabeth where I went to college at McDaniel but I couldn’t get on campus due to a high school graduation being held there that day.

We spent the rest of the day at my Uncle Phil and Aunt Niece’s home enjoying a cookout with more family. I got a chance to catch up with my cousins and more of my mom’s family. The kids had a fantastic time hurling themselves into the kiddie pool. It was a blistering 95 degrees in the shade but we still managed to have an amazing time.
