I was so sad to leave my Uncle Phil and Aunt Niece in East Berlin, PA. It had been such a long time since I had seen them and I was kicking myself for letting so much time pass between our visits. They promised to visit Kentucky and we made plans to see them over one of the holidays this year. They are truly special people and I am so thankful to have them in my life. They adore my children and loved on them like they were their own. I am truly blessed that they are in my family. I love you!
We travelled to see Matthew’s Aunt and Uncle outside of Philadelphia where we were once again reminded of how wonderful and important family is. We spent time with our little cousin who is the same age as Jacob. Then we went to dinner at a favorite local restaurant. It was a very calm and casual day but very sweet. It started sad and ended happy. It meant a lot to us.
